Dozen Enter Photo Contest A dozen members of the Lawrence photographic club and one student have submitted pictures in the Seventy-fifth Anniversary photographic contest sponsored by a Memorial Union committee. Deadline for entries is tomorrow, announced Keith Spalding, president of the Student Union Activities board. Both students and members of the faculty may enter the contest. Roof Garden on Third Floor The third floor will have a roof garden on the north strictly on college movie-set lines, and a smaller dining room where the present music room is now located. All this undiluted magnificence is provided for in Senate Bill No. 25, passed in the last state legislature, which provides for a corporation of five state schools of Kansas. The schools are authorized to form a corporation to issue bonds, not to exceed $600,000, which will be met through student assessment, to be paid off in the next 40 years. The Board of Regents is authorized to levy fees on the student body not to exceed $10, with a $2 assessment for summer school students. The next step in the Memorial Union boom, according to Werner, will be the approval of the Board of Directors of the Memorial Union building on the submitted plans.
