Sec- c (Continued from page 4) but the tough Missourians are on the road. Tough Card— Tuesday night the Jayhawkers start their suicide trek around the circuit with a tilt at Manhattan. They only downed Jack Gardner's scrappy Wildcats by a point here and are expecting a tough game. Next week-end the Jayhawkers will leave on a two-game jaunt to the northern end of the league to play Nebraska Saturday night and Iowa State Monday. If the Kansans get by these three contests, all they have to do to win the flag is trim Missouri here before a sellout crowd, March 1, and then take the hustling Oklahoma Sooners at Norran, March 8. Other Big Six games this week will find Oklahoma playing Oklahoma A. and M. Tuesday night at Norman and Thursday night Missouri and Iowa State will tangle at Columbia. The last time out Kansas lost to the Oklahoma Aggies, 24 to 22, for its third loss of the season. Beal Plans Architects Banquet Prof. G.M. Beal, chairman of student affairs in the School of Architecture and Engineering, announced yesterday that plans are being made for the program of the architecture and engineering banquet to be held here March 28. Word was received last week from Paul Starett, former Lawrence boy who was contractor for the Empire State building, that he would be unable to give the main address. A well-known man in engineering circles, Starett also sent an autographed copy of his new book "Changing the Skyline" which is to be placed in the department library. Starett's father was builder and pastor of the old Presbyterian church in Lawrence and was known by many Lawrence residents. Plans will be completed in the next week for another speaker and the remainder of the program, according to Professor Beal.
