Followed by a number of enthusiastic students, they marched to Snow Hall where Dr. Naismith was giving a lecture to his hygiene class. The spirited Professor, entirely in sympathy with the movement, invited the "rooters" in, and for a half hour Snow Hall was filled with reechoing yells. A collection was taken to defray the expenses of the band men to Topeka today and with comparative ease,$10 was raised. Men were sent to the various clubs and fraternities to try to increase this sum to $30.00. From Snow Hall the crowd marched to McCook led by "Boola-Boola," and around the field they went until darkness fell.
