Zelomek, economist, who spoke before three hundred women here. He added: "Women entered industry during the age of machinery, displacing men because they could be bired more cheaply. Fundamentally, with the exception of a few occupations, they have been unable to compete with men on an equal basis, for the specialization of the sexes places women at a disadvantage.
