New Book by Wilson to Be Circulated Widely Among Social Service Groups Mary Laiy, '21, Ames, Kan, is visit this week with her sisters, Jeanne c5, and Ruth, '13, at Corbin hall. Part two of the book deals with the essentials of a community program giving actual examples of the best methods of interaction with the highest type of service. Robert S. Wilson, instructor in the department of sociology and field representative of the newly created field foundation, is the author of a book just published by the Family Welfare Association of America, and he plans for Homeless Men and Boys'. Mrs. George Bradshaw will give a bridge luncheon on 1 o'clock Friday at her home, 1638 Illinois street. Mr. Wilson, who is a special research assistant for the Family Welfare Association, gives a comprehensive survey of homes with their homesmen and boys with their homemens and boys In the appraisal of methods of the various cities in the author credit, McGraw-Hill, Kansas, Kansah, staffed and organized to give personal service than any other rural Kansas The last part of the book is a dissertation on the homeless man as an individual. This defines the homeless theorize on the individual problems. Mr. Wilson, in compiling the information contained in the book, obtained the material "on the ground" by interviews and other research methods. Part one of the book is a summary of the experience of the 16 cities beginning with McPheson and including the cities of Chicago, Detroit, Kansas City, Boston, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Seattle, Louisville, Rosemont, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, New Orleans, and Decatur, III.
