Robinson, democratic floor leader who has been criticized for limited income tax increases as a means of meeting a fiscal year deficit which may reach a billion dollars. He warned that the Senate would only and not "for the purpose of reducing wealth or ordering fortunes" to enable him to affordable but he would not object to a luxury tax.
