KFKU Will Have Special Programs for Holidays
Christmas and New Year Musicals Will Be Presented at
11 a.m.
The KFKU radio program for the Christmas holidays has been announced. There will be special programs for Christmas and New Year's. The program will be broadcast Monday, Dec 22, at 6:45 a.m. the travolge "Straford-upon-Avon." The musical program to be given is arr. by T.C. Taylor and Paul Karl Kentestner.
Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 4 p. m., Christmas compositions by 4. p. C. S. Skilton will be given. At 4:30 p. m. a matinee musical program is to be pre-printed with the program talk, "Laws, Land of Song." Beginning at 6 p. m., a celestial travelogue followed by a musical program arranged by Mrs. Alice Moncrief will be given. Thursday, Dec. 25, at 11 a. m. Christmas musicals will be presented.
Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m. *n the program will be a short travel talk, "What Scotland Means to Me" and music by Mary Baker Young as musicals by Mary Bookell.*

The German department of the University held its annual Christmas celebration Wednesday, Dec. 17, in Fraser County. Damon Radke was in charge of the prophecy.
Miss Elma Richert read the St. Luke story of the ammunition and the narrative from the German Bible, older than her mother, penned by Miss Emily Ericson, song four Christmas songs. Mr. Leonard Bryon then told of his experiences in Germany during World War II, Bryon recently returned from a year in Europe. A trio composed of Miss Elma Richert, piano Michael H. Mier, Kurtier Kuesterer, piano Michael H. Kuerateister, bute, played several numbers. Doctor Hartke said they sang several songs, including one on the piano by Miss Ericson.
After the program, the audience joined in singing "Stille Night, Heilige Nacht" and "O Tannenbaum," and toa and cakes were served.
The annual formal Christmas dinner for the active chapter will be held at the Kappa Kappa Gamma house tonight.
"Nacimiento," or a portrayal of the birth of the Christ Child is on display at the office of the Spanish department. Miniature dolls and a tiny kit are used to portray the scene. Miss Maude Budd, a teacher in the museum, collected them while in Spain.
The Nacimiento is the usual gift to children in the Old World. The wealthy often give them heavy coats, easily ones for their children, and there are very inexpensive ones manufactures.

The faculty and majors in the home economies department were the guests of the Home Economics club at a Christmas party yesterday afternoon at the Home Economics building. The Christmas tree was decorated and gifts were distributed among the members.
Christmas decorations of evergreen, holly, and red cards were used. After dinner gifts were exchanged and later gifts were given to the poor children of the city.
Corbin hall gave its annual formal Christmas dinner last night. Mrs. Dora R. Bryant, assistant to the dean of women, was the guest of honor.

The Delta Upsilon fraternity will have its Christmas dinner tonight at the chapter house.
The Alpha Gamma Delta's held their annual Christmas kid party at the chapter house last night. Dinner guests were Mrs. R. N. Bloogdet, Mrs. C. E. Lindyay, Am Lacele Miller, and Marlene Cahoon. The family of real Santa Claus, Bob Mullen, who distributed the nonsense gifts to each girl, were the features of the evening.
The K. U. Dames met at the home and Mrs. G. C. Lashbrook on Dec. 17. A program was given. The first number was "What's in Your Present," read by Mrs. Earl Walton; second, a song "Stars of Hope" (Spokes) sung by Ms. Luther Levenwood; third, a poem "Miss you Most Present," read by Mrs. Ralph Wyatt; fourth, two violins "Dondernoy Aire" (Kreisler) and "Gavette" (Popper) played by Mrs. Gavette. The preparation of baskets for the Christmas families and in gathering money and clothes. The next meeting will be at the Ballet School on January 26, noses, on Jan. 14. A play is being planned for that meeting.

A fair sized crowd attended the last mid-week Vanity before the Christmas holidays which was held night last from 7 till 8 in the Union building.
Kappa Alpha Theta held its annual Christmas dinner last night at the chapter house. Only members of the active chapter were present. The host was the superintendent, and the Small evergreen trees covered with tinsel were in the center of the table.
The Kappa Sigma fraternity is having its regular Christmas party and dinner at the chapter house this evening, where it presents and poems for each member.
