Hishaw, freshman adviser, compose the Kansas coaching staff which brought the first Big Ten conference scout to Woodson. Six football championships to the Saints since he was a junior. "Bill" Harligs came to Kansas in 1928 from Emporia Teachers College and has completed his 20th year in the coaching game. This is Coach Harlig's third year at Kansas and to him goes the credit of originating the huddle system used by the majority of football teams today. "Mike" Goto, an all-American knack in 1928 from the University of Pittsburgh, has completed his second year as line coach at the University. He came to Kauppi in 1929 and has proved to be a great tutor. Paul Murray has completed his first year as backfield coach for the Jayhawks and has returned to the University of Pennsylvania to study medicine. "Huff" was a bigger factor in developing the Kansas backfield "power." "Steve" Hinshaw, freshman coach just finished his third year at Kansas.
