Edward Tate Rates 740 in Physical Ability Test Gym Instructor Works Out Plan to Relieve Monotony of Floor Work The athletic department of the University of Kansas tried for the first time this semester a new system of gym classes that might relieve the monotony of the straight gym classes. This is the first time that these tests have been given in the United States, for they were designed to test the physical素质 of physical education. The test consisted of a potato race, chinning, lift, floor dip, rope climbing, hop skip and jump, standing broad jumps, fan kick-yard dash and basketball throwings.
