Kansas used four pitchers, Mooney, Ransom, Cookey and Bishop, in an effort to stop the Aggie scoring spree. The Jayhawkers took out 12 hits, including two from a three-pointer inning the hits were scattered. Schmidt hit four out of five, a triple and three singles.
