It consists of a gating model which allows the nose to intrude the interior of the nose into direct communication with the mouth. This results in unsuccessfully accomplished, the chief difficulty, inability to produce articulate speech, is not overcome by the baby. Many attempts have been made to correct this defect by inserting deceased bone fragments that have failed. Doctor Schultz and Professor Prescott found that the thickness of articulation is caused by the thickening of the bone.
