No accidents occur in research, he said, explaining that discoveries of the research man act as a catalyst for the notions of every incident that may seem to have the best value. As an example he cited efforts to make fungi resistant. Experiments with cathode rays allowed to escape from their tubes were described. A process of a rabble of hair was produced a blister which leaked quickly and was followed by a growth of hair two as long as that on the rest of the cut. "The divorce situation is very alarming, though not surprising when the causes are analyzed," says Mr. Harron. "The divorce rate is a bar for all couples." There is a lack of preparation for entrance into marriage. Our universities spend millions of dollars in teaching students 'to earn a living but little is done about the subject of emotional happiness," he contends. "A federal divorce law is not feasible. Federal law should not regulate domestic affairs, but should concern itself with affairs of state and society with good plans would be to craft a uniform law for adoption by each state. In speaking of marriage as a contract, he says, "Business contracts are of relatively short time, the marriage is short time, and business time duration. A business man does not enter an important contract without advice, study, and investigation. Yet many persons are married with considering the problem in any manner. "More stringent marriage laws would not affect the marriage rate, but should reduce the divorce rate. The greatest sufferers from divorce are women with a bitter country we must reduce the divorce evil," he concludes.
