Intramural Court Semi-Finals to Be Run Off Tonight Basketball Champions Will Be Decided Wednesday When Finals Are Played

Four fraternity teams will battle tonightTM with the semi-final round of the intramural basketball tournament. The team that loses in the phla in the first game starting at 7:30, and Pii Kappa Pei will engage with the other teams later. These teams are the victors of four divisions comprising a total of 28 teams, which were eliminated after each game.
The finals of the tournament will be played Wednesday night.
The Pi K, A.'s are the only members of the semi-final round who were in the team's tournament. They were the Giants' Deltis and the Blue Bills' Deltis were defeated in the final by the Pi U, S., last year champions. Pi Upison was eliminated early in the tournament.
A charge of 25 cents will be charged for admission to the semi-finals and the finals Wednesday night.
The following is an unofficial list of the final standings in the four divisions. Some games still remain to be played, and will not seriously affect the rankings:

One pretty girl said, "Oh—he can run a dog hot dog stand—anything as long as he loves me."
"It matters not, unbody will do for me—but heavens, a traveling salesman." Never," said another.
What must a husband have? He must have a sense of humor, a broad outlook, consideration and intelligence the seniors decided.
"If my husband plays golf, I'll divorce him," said one Georgia psicha. "I already have a boy friend who I already know that is enough to last me a lifetime."

Kansas Wrestlers Tie for third Mat Honors With Iowa State Mer
Cox and Church Win Medal by Taking Their Weights
Kansas matten are tied with foxes for streakers for third place in the game. They are re-count of the scores made at the championship meet in Norman, Oklahoma. Alabama State and Oklahoma are tied for first place, while Nebraska takes fifth and Oklahoma is tied for first place.
*Captain Cox, 145-pounder*, and Steve Church, 165-pound man, are the Kansas men bringing championship skis from the Big Ski writing meet.
Allen Cochran was the only Kansan successful in taking his opponent to the finals. He judged勇男 man as the referees agreed to give match honors to the contentious showdown, but he did not fail Kansas the additional point which tied the 14 race.
This is the first time in the history of wrestling at the University that Kansas has placed a championship in each event. The meet, Gold medals will be awarded to class-champions and other medal awards to the second and third winners.
Captain Cox is the only man to leave the赛跑 this spring. The remaining members of the vixy wrestlers are: Rufenee Anderson, Kyle McGraw and James Welch and Bert Rogua of the 125-pound class; Bert Rogua of the 135-pound class; Ross Miller of the 155-pound class; Steve Church of the 165-pound class; Steve Church of the 165-pound class; and Bert Group of the heaviest division.

He hopes to obtain a membership of 100 candidates for varsity athletic teams who will pledge themselves to keep in good physical condition the year ahead, rarely during the athletic season so that they happen to be participating.
"We aren't expecting to maintain strictest training rules the year around," he says in outlining the purposes of the club. "But we do hope that by continuing our tradition, stain from tobacco and liquor the year around. There is no objection to an athlete eating pie and candy and keeping late hours during the summer months, and this club will serve up minor oices such as these."
Y. W. C. A. Poetry Group Hears Special Selections
Mrs. C, C. Durkee of Augusta, Kans., was the honor guest of the W.Y.C.A. poetry group which was in attendance at the opening and Margaret Davies, c29, at the home of Mrs. S. B. Braden, 1300 Oudun, Sunday afternoon. Special remarks were made by Farland, c21, and Mrs. Durkee read selections of her own writing. Variety poetry contexts were held during the meeting, and Mrs. Durkee curved at the close of the meeting.
Presbyterian Choir Gives Vesper Service in Topeks
The choirs chair of the First Presbyterian church gave a vesper concert to a packed house at the Westminster church. Fifty-five dollars was raised by a silver gift and will be applied to the music fund of the church. After the concert the members of the choir were guests at a buffet saplet dinner on Sunday, the Westminster church. The choir is composed, for the most part, of University students, as is under the direction of M. A. Gorman and the School of Fine Arts.

Waterfill, ventilating engineer of Newark, N, J, told the American Institute of Mining and Coal Processing. By placing a specially designed refrigerating and air-treating unit underground near the workings to cool the air and rob it of its humidity, mining engineers decided that Mr. Waterfill predicted.

Little Infantile Paralysis Found in Entire Country
Airplanes Hunt Boll Moth
Washington — Measles is replacing influenza as a nopothet among communicable diseases. Reports received by the agency indicate that health service here for the week ending March 2 showed 12,517 cases of measles and only 10,292 cases of influenza, although the epidemic seems to be over, largely because of a 5,033 case reported from Connecticut. However, Measles is bending a general rise in all the communicable diseases reported to the public health authorities; this is an important an epidemic, for at this season many of the communicable disease increase. Mothers and doctors are likely to be the beginning of measles, diphrima or scarlet fever, so this is the time to be surpassion of beginners.
Infantile paralysis is the only case, not showing an increase, in running at the extremely low figure for infants. It occurs while typhoid fever, small pox, and meningitis show increases. Meningitis requires the figure for last visit at this time.

ursuit Tactics Used for Study of Emigrating Pests
Washington - Airplane pursuit taceries are being used by the United States department of agriculture to the fight habits of destructive insects.
The airplanes equipped with insect nets were recently placed in service in the Rockies, where they will be the pink boll worm which are suspected of unlawfully emigrating to the U.S.
The pink boil worm is one of the most destructive pests of cotton, and as long been combated on the border between Texas and Mexico.
The traps consist of a stick fly paper preparation which holds the moth when it flies against it. Aga larvae are attracted to cotton infested cotton fields are noted and the scientists believe these lata will enable them to determine the season and direction in which the moths travel. The abundance of the lata depends on the rule which they attain will also indicate the distance they may travel.
World's Great Toothache Is Discovered in Texas
Corsicana, Texas — Texas has long been famous for the longest horse cattle, for the greatest oil wells, for the largest livestock herds, and served in its extensive Red Beds, and now it comes to the front as having horses both in stock and toothbone known to man or animal.
A. H. Doser found near Corsica several molars of the large imperial elephant whose nearly fourteen feet high at the shoulders. Among the bones was a much twisted, deformed tooth, weightless and deeply buried as an impacted lower molar, recalling in all essentials a badly impacted lower human molar. The size of the jaw, excreted by the growing tooth trying to come through the bone and gums. If the size of the pain comparable with the great odor must have been the pain.

Women's First Concert Will Be Fine Arts Vespers

The first public appearance of the Women's Glee Club this year will be Sunday, March 17, at the Fine Arts recital in the Auditorium at 1:30.
At this recital all 50 of the glee club members will sing. This will be the third Fine Arts recital, but the band has not sung. The Club bus had a part. The members will sing, Seraphic Song, by Anton Rubinstein, arranged by Samuel Richard Gaines. Besides the singing, the program will include organ, harp, bass, piano and trumpet.
Alice Mancroft, assistant professor of chine, will give the solo parts of a concert by professor of violin, will have a part in the orchestra E. Anderson, University organist; and Mrs. Laurel E. Poisonous hay was tried on ratabis rabbits at the North Dakota Agrifarm, but they believed that the rabbits reacted to the poison in an average of eleven days, much sooner than horses, Cattle or sheep. So they recommend that rabbits be fed with hay and grass rather than hay as the stock. If the rabbits there is little loss compared to that of a horse or a cow. Then there is livestock that receives the livestock to a different hay.
