MARCH 11, 1929 Played Four fraternity teams will battle tonightTM with the semi-final round of the intramural basketball tournament. The team that loses in the phla in the first game starting at 7:30, and Pii Kappa Pei will engage with the other teams later. These teams are the victors of four divisions comprising a total of 28 teams, which were eliminated after each game. The finals of the tournament will be played Wednesday night. The Pi K, A.'s are the only members of the semi-final round who were in the team's tournament. They were the Giants' Deltis and the Blue Bills' Deltis were defeated in the final by the Pi U, S., last year champions. Pi Upison was eliminated early in the tournament. A charge of 25 cents will be charged for admission to the semi-finals and the finals Wednesday night. The following is an unofficial list of the final standings in the four divisions. Presbyterian Choir Gives Vesper Service in Topeks The choirs chair of the First Presbyterian church gave a vesper concert to a packed house at the Westminster church. Fifty-five dollars was raised by a silver gift and will be applied to the music fund of the church. After the concert the members of the choir were guests at a buffet saplet dinner on Sunday, the Westminster church. The airplanes equipped with insect nets were recently placed in service in the Rockies, where they will be the pink boll worm which are suspected of unlawfully emigrating to the U.S. The pink boil worm is one of the most destructive pests of cotton, and as long been combated on the border between Texas and Mexico. The traps consist of a stick fly paper preparation which holds the moth when it flies against it. Aga larvae are attracted to cotton infested cotton fields are noted and the scientists believe these lata will enable them to determine the season and direction in which the moths travel.
