Japanese Are Lecturers Little Outside Work Done in Japanese Schools Appleton, Ws. — The educational system used in Japanese colleges is decidedly different from that employed American colleges. Students often taught in Japan for six years. Sometimes 32 hours a week are spent in lectures with no outside work. This situation is probably due to the lack of libraries or resources.
