All day yesterday they were being tested to be sure they would be ready for service today. This morning at seven o'clock they will begin grinding out the news of the world for Kansan readers at about 40 words a minute. keeping it up all day until nearly press time in the afternoon. News of the political campaign, the football season. the world series games and other important events of the world can be brought to Kansan readers in a much more adequate way during the interesting fall months ahead. If the enlarged wire service proves sufficiently popular with Kansan readers arrangements will be made to continue it. More Interesting Features for the Coming Year's Kansans New Features for 1928-29: Strong features of past years which will be continued: 1.
