Norton, Alumnus, Dies in St. Louis, Mo Edwin Millet Norton, a graduate from the University of Kansas School of Engineering of the class of 1898 died April 24, 1928 according to were received here today. Lawreens, who has served in the capacity of assistant engineer on the state board of health for the purpose of conducting the duties of engineer of Chanuts, according to Prof. Earned Boye, laborer of water and sewage laboratory. Mr. Lawrence graduated from the School of Civil Engineering at the University of Kansas in 1925. In his new position he will take charge of the public works department and will himself control the water and never systems. The appointment of a man to take Mr. Lawrence's place has not yet been made. Helen Willis, national women's tennis champion and student at the University of California, has made her lebt as a writer of books. Win Opening Games The women's intramural baseball season opened Tuesday with a game between Alpha Xi Delta and Pi Beta Phi nt: 4:30 p.m. and one between Gammu Phi Beta and T, N, T at 6:15 p.m. The Alpha Xi Delta team defeated Pi Beta Psi, 7-6.
