WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4. 1928 THE UNIVERSITY DAILY KANSAN PAGE THREE Gold-Bronze Plaque to Be Among Prizes Given Relay Winners Trophies This Year to Include Medals, Wrist Watches and Cups A new team trophy in the form of a gold-bronze plaque has been added to the long list of prizes and trophies to be given to winners in the sixth Kansas Relays April 21, according to Earl Potter of the athletic office. The new trophy is 12 inches high, with a metal base upon which it stands. On the face of the plaque is shown two relay runners making a pass of the baton, with the Kansas University team at the nose of the University in the background. The new trophy is to be given to the winning relay teams in the 14 races for universities, colleges and high schools.
