Big Blonde fullback who scored the last touchdown in the last game that Kansas has won against Nebraska. This was the game of 1916 when Kansas defeated Nebraska 7 to 3. Nielson was captain of the Jayhawkers in 1917.
To maintain here a living memorial that shall perpetua in keeping with his character and ideals:
