ALTA VISTA ATHLETES HOLD TRACK TRYOUT Rival Literary Societies Meet Winners to Compose Track Team Alta Vista, April 21.—In the third annual interschool track meet the Vims defeated the Literattae, 64 to 56 here this afternoon. Because of the high wind and the condition of the track, no records were made. The Vims took in field events but the Vims piled up enough points on the track to win the meet. The relay was the deciding event. The athletes showed best form on the distance runs, and in the broad and high jumps. Dierking, a miler, and captain of the track team won the mile, his teammate Nick O'Neill today's victory gives the Vim society two victories out of three meets. (Bv Harry H.
