A constitution was drawn up, providing for an Association to be composed of the Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining, Chemical, and Architectural Engineering Societies, representing the department of Engineering. The inter-society committee of twelve elected M. L. English, temporary chairman, and P. K. Bunn, temporary secretary. The primary object of the association is to be the publication of a journal to represent the activities and interests in the School of Engineering, and of the several societies. The journal will be issued, for a while at least, only once or twice a year. It will be technical in nature, containing some of the best papers presented in the student articles by admirals and outsiders, and statements of the main lines of work taken up by the six societies. -Such a publication is issued by Schools of Engineering in many universities.
