Phi Delts Winners of Intramural Cup Awarded Saturday

Alpha Tau Omega Second Alpha KappaLambda Third in Final Seizing
Filai Delta Theta won the all-round intramural tournament and with it the $800 specially-designed cup given as an award according to the final standings given out on Saturday at the office of John Sato, intramural director. The team was a total of 724 points and the Alpha Tau Omega were second with 531.
A second place cup has been donated by the Sol Marks & Son jewelry store. It will have to be won three times for a permanent possession of any group.

The Kappa Sigs won the tennis tournament with a total of 88 points and the Phi Delta Chia was fifth. Kansas Batting Average High; Kraemer Is First
Four member of, the 1926 Kansas baseball team had a batting average of more than .300 for the season. One player, Krieger, batted over the 400.
Kraemer's average for the season was .411. "Story" Wall had the next best average with .328.

Football Hopes Rise
Declines Diploma to Serve Alma Mater Another
Season
Football hopes for the K, U. team of 1923 became more optimistic with the announcement that Voights will return to school in the fall. Volleibs will face a tough test in declining his diploma in order to have the opportunity to serve his Alma Mater another year. He has played irregularly in both tackle positions for the just two years. His last year won special recognition.
The return of Voughts helps to fill a gap left at baches through the graduations of students from St. Joseph and Rabe Smith, captain of the 1925 team. Lattin was expected to return next year, but he reported at the athletics meeting that he would be unable to return.
Chi Omega Wins Cup
Alpha Xi Delta Second Among Women Athletes
Cla Oiunga with 101 points in the Women's Intramural Athletic Association won the silver trophy for the organization with the largest number of points for the year. Alpha Xi Delta was second with 173.
Standings of the other organizations were as follows: T. N., T. 155, Kapsa Kapsa Gamma, 69; Wita Wita Wita, 60; Gamia Phi Beta, 60; Desta Desta Phi Beta, 60; Mu Phi Epilion, 10; and Mu Phi Epilion, 10. The Chi Gamma tennis doubles team composed of Elliot and Heuderson defeated the Wita Wita team, Bernadine and George, for the intramural doubles championship. Scoring was

Interclass tennis tournaments have not been completed as yet, but the final will be played some time next week. The third round is in London on Monday or the match forfeited. Five rounds are being played.
Myron Voughts, c271, was elected president of the "KC Club to succeed William Mullins, e26, at the meeting of the Club hold last week. Lewis Davidson, c271, was elected secretary of the union won their letters in football.

Bugles to Raise Pep
Cheerleader Rice Is Planning New Feature for Rallies
A drum and bugle corps will be a part of every University of Kansas pep rally and athletic event next year. The team, headed by head cheerler, are carried out.
In discussing the plan Saturday Rice said, that he believed there was nothing that could get people to rise out of their seats and be cheerful in front of a transmitter of energy," Rice said. "That is why the army uses them so much. Next year when we are going to have a police rally at the stadium, they will be two twenty-five students there. The bulge and drum corps will be sent about the streets to drive the students out." Rice said that he had not yet appalled.
