THURSDAY, MAY 27, 1926 3 THE UNIVERSITY DAILY KANSAN PAGE THREE Four Organizations Plan to Build Homes Before Fall Semester Other Social Groups to Move to New Homes or Remodel Present Ones From present indications there will be several new fraternity and sorority homes in Lawrence next fall. These new homes have definitely announced that they will start building before the beginning of the fall semester, while several other organizations are planning to open dormitories and homes or moving to new locations. The Delta Chi fraternity now owns a bit just north of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon board, and plans to erect a building that are not yet complete, but it is thought that the building will be started before next fall. The Sigma Chis are still in development and a pledge to finance the building of a home. No definite building plans have been announced, but as the project now stands they will build this sur- The Delta Upson fraternity plans to start building a house in West University Heights late this summer. Definite plans of the house have not been finalized, and the work will soon be started on the new Alpha Chi Omega home, which will be located at their present address at 1236 Oread. The greater part of the present house will be torn down, but the structure will be erected in its place. The Delta Gamma sorority will either buy or lease a house for next fall, but it just not yet decided upon a definite location. The Alpha DPM Sorority in now improving its real estate and putting a concrete driveway. The sorority also plans on making a few minor improvements on the house before next fall. The Kapua Sigma's are intending to remodel, both the upstairs and the first floor of their house during the summer months. The Delta Zetas are going to be in a new location next year. The Gamma Deltas are improving the Gamma Deltas of their residence by extensive irrigating and sodding of their kawn. Theta Sigma Pc. Elects Three Three new members were elected to Theta Sigma Ph, women's honorary journalsistic orientation, yesterday after- day.
