Crimson and Blue Quintie Shows Strong Offense in First Valley Contest Contrary to pre-season expectations, the Kannas defence proved a bit loose, while the offense proved to be unusually strong. The 26 points that Grimmiel ran up against the Jayaville team was able to score last year. Kansas will meet the Ames Cyclones tonight for the second game of the Iowa trip. --lor in the `department of design. **Women's Glee Club to Make Tour** The women's glee club will make a tour of the following southeastern towns beginning Feb. 15. Independent museums include Dauphin and Cailey. The club will give a concert at Eudora on Feb. 10. This will be the first appearance outside of Lawrence this year. About half of the glee club, which is under the direction of Miss Agnes Husband. Women's Rifle Team Fire in Inter-Squad Matche A rifle match will be held next week between the two squads of the women's rifle team. The squads will be cartmaned by Tahalm, e258, Bortz, e257, and Bartz. Victor Aristis to Entertain An entertainment in person by eight Victor artists will be given in the city auditorium, at Topeca, Satellite City. The program will consist of numbers by the following: Henry Barr, tenner; William Murray, tenner comedian; Albert Campbell, baritone; Frank Coxon, bass; Monroe Silver, monologist; Rudolph Wideok, saxophonist; and Robert Sparrow, clarinet quartet and the Sterling trio are the special features of the program. The match is being fired in order that the team may keep in practice for the inter-collegate match which will take place on Monday, February. The fifteen women firing the highest scores will probably be the ones to fire in the first match of the tournament. Sergent E. M. Palmer has re-arranged the practice schedule for the women's rife team. Each woman has been assigned three practice hours a week, and Sargent Palmer said that he would work before the matches start. Beginning the first week in February, there will be one match a week.
