. THE UNIVERSITY DAILY KANSAN DEC. 15 IS DEADLINE FOR ANNUAL GLOSSES Organizations Urged to Have Pictures Taken Early for 1920 Jayhawker December 15 has been set as the dead line for gloss prints of organizations for the 1920 Jayhawk, by the managers of the book. This applies to fraternities and sororites, both students and society, and to all clubs and societies. "Organizations handing in the gloss pictures of their members after December 31, 2016," he said, "today 'must stand a ten percent increase in price. This is necessary because the cost of engravings made late is increased by the engraving." "Several organizations have had their pictures taken, and many have dates set with the photographers. We wish to urge presidents of organizations to set early dates for their pictures." Section editors are working on getting in the organization prints. Geneva Hunter is handling sororities; Floyd Hockenhall, fraternities; Walter Horren, men's organizations; and Men's Maub, women's organizations. Twelve organizations have entered the Jayhawk subscription contest. They are: Aechth, Alemannia, Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Delti, Pi Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Xi Delta, Chi Omega, Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha, Kappa Alpha, Heta Pi, Heta Sigma, Kappa, and the Women's Co-operative House. "Others probably will enter the content the first few days of this week," said Edgar L. Hollis. "The members of the entries have checked out subcription order blanks and are setting up work getting subscriptions." The Jayhawk office is open daily from 10:30 to 4:30 o'clock. Further information on the contest may be had at the office. A Jayhawker board meeting has been called for Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock in Room 10, basement of the Journalism Building. GRID GOSSIP Tom Pringle is back in his old 1917 form. The twisting and turning tactics he employed in the game Saturday were the same with which he virtually won the Missouri game in '17. Wint Smith's field goal was somewhat of a surprise to Kanaas fans Saturday. However, Smith had been criticized for the occasion several days. Waltz Dream face powder please everyone. Try it. Each team has 1,000 per cent. a week ago. This gives Kansas a margin of three points. While on the other hand, Missouri held the Sooners to a 6 to 16 tie, the Wildcats and Missouri tied in the same score. This gives us the edge over both the Tigers and the Sooners totalling thirteen Points. If dope can be counted upon (which it can't) Kansas has the edge over both Nebraska and Oklahoma. This is the dope. Oklaahoma and the Huskers are better than bested Nebraska 3 to 0 Saturday, the Jawhayers hold Ames to 0 to tic New looking at from the Missouri angle.
