INTELLIGENCE TESTS WILL BE GIVEN SOON THE UNIVERSITY DAILY KANSAN Dean P. F. Walker Wil Test Freshman Engineers Dean P. F., Walker of the School of Engineering will be in charge of the intelligence tests which will be given next week to the freshmen engineers. The tests will be adopted by the Society for the Promotion of Engineering Education and will consist of six different sections. One section will be on general intelligence, one psychological lines and another will be devoted to actual problems. These tests are not given as entrance examinations and will in no way influence the standing of the students in the School of Engineering. The purpose of the test is to show how closely intelligence tests will indicate the capacity of the student. These tests can be either elastic and professional standing of the students and the efficiency of the tests computed in this manner. Marjorie Castle, A.B.19, and Hugh T. McGinness were married September 25, at Miss Castle's home in St Joseph, M. Miss Castle was an instructor in the department of physical education in the junior school. Mr. McGinness was a junior on the Hill when war was declared. He was a member of Company M, and spent eightteen months in France, where he received a compass in 1864. He lived home in Wichita, where Mr. McGinness is the oil business.
