The local chapter of Chi Omega went to Kansas City Saturday to attend the rushing party at the home of Miss Elizabeth Sullivan. Sergt. Paul "Plinke" Friend is attending school in Manchester, England. He has been transferred from Base Hospital 28 and is waiting his transportation home. Sergeant Friend was graduated from the School of Law in '17. Kappa Alpha Theta will entertain with a rushing house party, May 10 and 11. They will give a dance at the Country Club, May 10. Hinda Etheridge, c21, spent Saturday and Sunday in Kansas City. Helen Toller of Kansas City visited it the Kappa house, Saturday and Sunday. Florence" Teichgraeber, c'21, spent the week-end at her home in Emporia. Matrons of all fraternities and sororites were entertained with an Easter party Thursday afternoon at the Acacia house. Mrs. E. R. Mackie, Mrs. J. S. Graduate Club Meets The annual founders' day banquet of Theta Tau, honorary engineering fraternity, will be held Tuesday night at the banquet room of Bricken's cafe. Theta Tau was founded at the University of Minnesota in 1904 and the Zeta chapter was installed at the University of Kansas in 1912. Faculty members in the School of Engineering are Prof. George C. Shaad, Prof. H. A. Rice, and Prof. J. O. Jones. The program of toasts is as follows: the dramatization of "Caroline's Christmas or The Inneplicable Infant" by Stephen Leacock, by six members of the Graduate Club was given at a meeting of the graduate club Friday afternoon at Westminster Hall. The play was read by Edgar Wertheim. Mrs. Arthur Owen also played the Gluck-Brahm, Gavott, Sjögren's folk dance and MacDowell's Hungarian etude.
