The loss was the Jayhawks eighth in their last 10 games. The Jayhawks, who were told on Monday afternoon that the game against Missouri would be cancelled because the Tigers were snowed in during the game, won the game for the first 8:25 of the game. THE JAYHAWKS, who fell to 12-11 on the season, were once again the victims of their own mistakes. They turned the ball over 21 times compared to 13 for Missouri. KU's foul shooting also hurt the Jayhawks. Kansas shot 22 free throws, but could contain only 12 of them. Kansas was once again led by Missouri had three players in double figures.
