Linton, associate professor of speech and journalism and chairman of radio and television at KU, has been elected president of the Asm. for Professional Broadcasting Education. Pickering said the Synod of Kansas today received his letter saying he had accepted a job at the University of Nebraska, at Lincoln, as director of the United Campus Christian Fellowship. He announced his resignation to KU Presbyterian students Sunday. Pickering Quits KU Position His work on the Nebraska campus will begin August 1. He will finish his work at KU at end of the semester. The United Campus Christian Fellowship is an ecumenical organization of students and faculty at the University of Nebraska. It includes those in United Presbyterian, Congregational, Evangelical and Reformed and Evangelical United Brethren denominations. Rev. Pickering is the assistant director of the KU Westminster Foundation. In the School of Religion he is teaching Old Testament Literature and Old Testament History.
