The band was at one end and the dancers filled the cleared area. Many couples at the dance had decorated their socks alike and wore no shoes to better show off the decorations. Several of them chose the tiger skin as their motif. The tiger on the wall even smiled at this — he knew that he would soon be dancing on Javhawk feathers. The band played until midnight when the decorations were torn from the walls. The tiger even smiled during the martyrdom. He remained confident about the outcome of the championship game. Slowly the dancers left the hall. The band's electric instruments were packed. The tables were put in place and the floor dusted. Today the game is over.
