Mr. Weiss quit high school at 10 but later graduated cum laude and with a Phi Beta Kappa membership from the evening division of New York City College. He received his PhD from Harvard in 1929. Wilkins to Sing at Faculty Recital The School of Fine Arts will present Joseph Wilkins, tenor, and Marie Wilkins, soprano, in a Faculty Recital at 8 p.m. tonight in Swarthout Recital Hall. Mr. Wilkins, professor of voice and chairman of KU's voice department since 1955, was graduated in engineering from Cornell University. Mrs. Wilkins, a former member of the KU faculty, was a leading soprano with the Metropolitan Opera Company.
