The two-room space craft had been in orbit since Saturday, piloted by the oldest man ever launched into space, Col. Georgy Beregovoi, 47. The Soyuz, Russia's vehicle in the race to the moon, practiced techniques of approaching another space vehicle, the unman- Griffin's name will appear on the ballot in Kansas and in 21 other states as the running mate of presidential candidate George C.
