"But she was the prettiest of all the contestants and someone had to win the title so the country could be represented in the coming Miss World Contest in London." More American Indian language courses soon The anthropology department at KU is planning to increase the number of courses offered in languages of the American Indians. Thirsten Nicklas, an acting assistant professor, has joined the department to teach some of those courses. Prof re-elected to AUA G.
