Miss Sorter is a junior in the School of Education and a member of Delta Gamma sorority.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Croker of Pittsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Janice, to Richard F. Tusher, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Tusher of Lawrence.
Tusher has served four years in the United States Air Force and is presently employed with the United States Postal Department.
A summer wedding is planned.
Mr. and Mrs. Clifford L. Harding of Lawrence announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Joyce, to David Arthur Laney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Omar W. Laney of Lawrence.

Mr. Laney, a senior in music education, is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinifonia and Pi Kappa Lambda, music fraternities, and Phi Delta Kappa, education fraternity.
Delta Tau Delta fraternity announces the engagement of Michael S. Smith, Mission junior, to Elaine Williams of Kansas City.

Miss Williams attended KU last year and is presently employed with T.W.A. airlines as a hostess.
Smith is majoring in Industrial Management.
