Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Screechfield, Topeka, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Lucy, to Marvin J. Pratt, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Pratt, also of Topeka.

Miss Screechfield is a sophomore in the School of Fine Arts, Mr. Pratt attended KU for two years and is presently in the Navy where he has obtained an appointment to the Naval Cadet Officer's School.
