Richards Named BOSTON — (UPI) — Baltimore Orioles Manager Paul Richards, who has been in baseball 25 years but has never taken part in an All-Star game, will manage this year's American League All-Stars. League President Joe Cronin announced yesterday that Richards would fill in for Casey Stengel, the New York Yankees pilot who retired after the 1960 season. The Yanks' pennant victory automatically qualified Casey for the job. It was only the fourth time since the All-Star contests began in 1933 that the manager of the previous year's pennant-winner has not managed the All-Stars. Cronin, former Boston Red Sox pilot, was one of the substitute managers, taking over for Joe McCarthy of the Yankees in 1940. ADULT ENTERTAINMENT!
