Dear Sir—In April, 1983, the department that my ordination examination would be held in a fortnight. I had only ten (10) days in which to prepare for the Exam. I should recommend a year's preparation in the case of any one so sad as you are. I should have strengthened my natural memory that I was able to remember and give the gist of any book after reading it once. Therefore read lightfoot, The Gift of God, and was successful in every one of the nine papers. The present Bishop of Edinburgh knows the facts.
