And never before have accessories been such a must to complement a wardrobe. The shorter skirts give a longer look at pretty legs and feet, which will be dressed in bright shoes and stockings. A new era of the daytime shoe has been born. The heel has lowered as the hemline rises, for nothing balances the shorter skirt so perfectly as the shorter-heeled shoe.
