School Of Education Lists 88 Practice Teachers A third group of student teachers is now practice teaching in Kansas public schools during the first half of the spring semester. Each semester the School of Education places two groups of its students throughout the state to get teaching experience while living in the community where they are assigned. On an average, the school sends out about 300 students for practice. For the first seven weeks of this semester, 88 students are participating. While most have a regular schedule at KU, four are student teachers only. They are Edward G.
