Page 8 University Daily Kansan Wednesday, Sept. 25. 1957 CHARLES JOHNSON, new KU-Y executive secretary, announced that the KU-Y will begin the school year with a $12,000 budget. The budget is determined by an advisory board of the faculty, Lawrence residents and a student cabinet. The money is received from student donations, faculty and student memberships and gifts from alumni and the Rock Chalk Revue. Foreign Students To Be Guests Foreign students on the KU campus will be guests of KU-Y members at the KU-Oregon State football game Saturday. Foreign students and KU-Y members will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Union and go to the game in a group. After the game, they will return to the Student Union for the post-game reception. Plans for the game are a follow-up to a letter writing program to foreign students by KU-Y members this summer.
