KU Fights Hunger
Throughout October KU Fights Hunger will collect monetary donations online and is collecting donations of nonperishable food at several campus locations. Those making online donations are asked to select "KU Fights Hunger" from the donors list. Individuals can also text JUSTFOODKS to 80888 to donate $10.Donations will support Just Food, the food bank of Douglas County. Executive Director of US International Council on Disabilities, David Morrissey, will address the pivotal policy changes, the ever-changing face of disability challenges in America and Senator Bob Dole's tireless work on this important issue. What It Takes, is arguably the best book ever written about presidential character, with a depth that became a style guide for many contemporary political writers. It is also the definitive book on Bob Dole.
