Root, assistant physical director of the University, went to Kansas City, Kansas, Tuesday evening to assume the duties of physical director of the new gymnasium connected with the high school of that city. Mr. Root is a senior in the College and will return to Lawrence two days each week so that his new position will not prevent the completion of his course in the University.
