He has been attending the Chicago Art Institute but on account of ill health was forced to leave. While he was in school here he did most of the art work for the Jayhawker. The debate will not be held on the night before May Day this year. The custom has been to hold the debate on this night, but as this will conflict with the Junior Prom, another date will be set by the committees in charge. The Mandolin Club made a hit with its program at Haskell Institute Wednesday night. The boys were heartily applauded by a large audience. Raymond G. Taylor, '07 principal of the Hiawatha schools, is visiting at the University. Mrs. E. W.
