Place received a threatening phone call. The spokesman said the woman told officers that she was picked up in a white car and driven east on Highway 40. The rape case has been ruled by the Douglas County-Shawna County line. A 23-YEAR-OLD TOPEAK woman was raped Monday afternoon after two white males picked her up to her apartment, and then she to a sheriff's department spokesman. The woman told officers she was raped once, then driven to Big Springs, where the men released her, the spokesman said. She contacted the sheriff's department after a visit. The spokesman said the woman presumably knew one of the men. Suspects are being sought, he said. Steve Cramer, Lawrence junior, and Shelley Senecal, Lawrence sophomore, last night became the first team to formally graduate from the school. The student body president and vice president. Cramer said that they would begin forming a coalition this week. Until they can discuss issues with coalition members, he said, they will not outlance a platform. Cramer said they would emphasize learning about campus issues and the University government's structure to coalition members.
