To the nation, she was "Mamie" a lady, quiet woman who was happy to be known simply by the wife of Dwight D. Eisenhower, general and the country's 34th president. Mrs. Eisenhower would have been 83 on Nov. 14. As Eisenhower planned, she will be buried tomorrow beside him in the "Place of Remembrance," a memorial colored windows and Travertine marble walls paneled just across from Eisenhower's boyhood home. Both are on the floor of the Eisenhower Center at Abilene.
