Stereo equipment, firefighters and a color television, valued at $2,300 were taken from an apartment in the 2000 block of West 28th on Sunday night, according to a police report. The report said intruders entered the apartment by prying open a rear sliding glass door. A 26-year-old Lawrence man was listed in satisfactory condition yesterday while recovering from injuries he suffered when he lost control of his motorcycle on County Road 438 Saturday afternoon, according to a Douglas County sheriff's report.
