Retired professor suffers heart attack at election precinct
A retired KU professor died last night of an apparent heart attack he suffered while working on the election counting effort at Louisiana precinct, 23rd and Louisiana streets.
Lawrence
R. Paul Brotsman, 2426 Louisiana St., a professor emeritus of social welfare, will speak in the evening Memorial Hospital. He suffers apparent heart attack about 6:20 p.m.
Brotman, 70, taught at the University for about 15 years and retired around 1975, according to David Moore, dean of the School of Social Welfare.
