Ford told an airport audience here last night that he had established with Soviet Communist party leader Leonid Brehzrev "a sound basis for a new agreement that will allow us to continue our breakthrough in strategic arms negotiations according to Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger, the Ford and Brehzrev agreement will limit each country to an equal overall number of nuclear delivery vehicles. They also decided to place a numerical limit on the number of U.S. and Russian aircraft involved in combat missions equipped with multiple independently targetable warheads. Sixty Ethiopians executed From the Associated Press ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia—Ethiopia's new military government announced yesterday the execution of 60 former aristocrats and officials, including a grandson of deposed Emperor Haile Selassie, two former premiers and the head of the ruling military council. A Radio Ethiopia broadcast said the executions were "an act of justice." Most of those executed were foreigners, with 25 arrested for corruption drive by reformist military officers that culminated in Selassie's deposition Sept. 12. Reliable sources said the executions took place by machine gun at midnight Saturday. Hijackers hold 3 crewmen From the Associated Press TUNIS, Tunisia—Four Palestinian guerrillas holding three cremies hostage aboard a hijacked British airliner yesterday threatened to blow the plane up after the Arab world apparently refused their sanctuary. The gunmen had negotiated the release of seven colleagues by releasing 40 passengers aboard the plane, which was hited Thursday. Udall of Arizona got the jump on several potential opponents for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1976 by announcing Saturday that he would enter New Hampshire's March 1976 presidential primary, the first in the nation. The decision followed a six-month sampling of sentiment among Democratic voters that convinced Udall the race was wide open now that Sen. Edward M. Although a definite decision hasn't been made, it appears that the proposed Kansas City to Denver Amtrak train will stop in Lawrence. According to Jay Barcia of Sen. Bob Dole's Topeka office, Roger Lewis, presiding of Amrheb's charge of election between Washington, D.C., Kansas City and Denver. Amtrak may stop in Lawrence "Nothing else has been said about intermediate stops but it is evident that it will be the southerly Santa Fe route," Garcia said. The southernly Santa Fe route would take the train through Kansas City, Lawrence, Topken, Emporia, Hutchinson, St. Joseph, Garden City before crossing into Colorado. García said Amtrak would make the final stop on the route, its stops and the timetable. "It will be totally funded by the federal government at no cost to the state," Garcia said. "It will continue for two years at the end of which time they will determine whether they will shut down the line or keep it on permanently." The train will be run on an experimental basis with federal funds. Garcia said an Amtrak report, which will precede the initiation of a new railway project, was the first part of 1975. Glen West, executive vice president of the Lawrence town of Commerce, said he would be in favor of Garcia's proposal.
