Activities include a 10-course Indian-cuisine dinner, folk songs and dances, classical sitar music and a skirt about Indian life. An authentic Japanese Kabuki theater production, "Benkel at the Bridge," will be presented at 8:40 p.m. today in Swarthout Recital Hall. Leonard C. Pronkow, professor of romance languages and associate director of Pomona College, Claremont, Calif., will present the 1731 Kabuki piece. Most psychology majors with a bachelor of arts degree go on to other professional schools such as law, medicine or business, Klesier said. The department admits about 25 students each year to the graduate program. New Tapes $3.99 The department of psychology is large, but because the growth has come so rapidly, Kiesler said, the faculty hasn't increased proportionally. The faculty has increased only about 138 per cent to the undergraduate major increase of 757 per cent. Kiesler said that a large number of faculty members in the department, about twice the average for the entire University.
