"CHALLENGER" THE BALD EAGLE At the end of the National Anthem "Challenger", the bald eagle will soar into Memorial Stadium. "Challenger" is the only bald eagle that is trained to free-fly in sporting events such as this year's World Series games in New York and the Opening Ceremonies for the 1996 Olympics. "Challenger's" pre game flight is sponsored by The University of Kansas chapter of Pi Beta Phi.
