Sex can relieve illness and stress caused by weather and midterms
Watch out, those days are coming.
Those days when you only have cold water in the shower, and your roommate used the last towel. When you walk out the door, it starts to rain, and in three minutes you're wet and cold again. When you get to class and look at your syllabus for the first time since Aug. 26 and you figure out your Western Civilization midterm is in two days — and you haven't even bought the books yet.
And unbelievably, it isn't even noon.
A horrible day full of school and work drags on. Nothing goes right. You have nothing to look forward to at the end of the day except a miserly dinner of Ramen Noodles, garlic bologna and the last bottle of beer in the refrigerator, followed by a long night of homework.

of the same. More stress is heaped on your shoulders. No money, only enough partying to keep you sane, nothing but homework, work, school and cold, wet rain.
Horny yet? Because if you aren't, you should be.
To me, nothing says hot lovin' more than the stressful, nasty days of fall.
Strange? Not really.
Nothing's better for stress relief than a good romp. Take out some lube and use it by yourself or with a partner and feel your premidterm tension melt away. A
pleasure pit stop even can help while studying. According to The Guide to Getting It On by Paul Joannides, orgasms have been shown to clear your head and improve your brain's understanding of school-related things.
It might have to be quite an orgasm to get you an A in biology, but it definitely doesn't hurt to try. Just remember to be careful of your notes if things get extra crazy and to actually take some time to study.
Another thing that sex can help make better is sickness. Unless you have something nasty like the stomach flu, grab some Kleenex and go at it. According to AskMen.com, hormone secretions caused by orgasms can help cure anything from the common cold to a headache. In fact, having sex or masturbating can help things such as immune systems, depression and skin problems.
So orgasms not only feel good.
they're good for you, too.
Just be sure to give it a go solo if you're contagious. Getting someone else sick isn't a sexy thing at all.
And, as always, no matter how stressed out or sick you are, be safe. Carry condoms around with you if your week is particularly stressful, or just use your own resources and have at it alone. Think of it as a pleasure run in your pocket. Quick, portable and fun. Just don't do it in the Watson library stacks — unless it's a real emergency.
Just remember: An orgasm a day (or every couple of days) keeps the doctor away, and it might even do wonders for your skin, stamina and mood, too. At the very least, it will put a smile on your lips and a flush in your face.
